In the drought-stricken Sahel region of West Africa, more than 18 million people are facing a severe food crisis. Following the disastrous harvest of 2011, food supplies have run dangerously low. Oxfam is on the ground in some of the worst-affected areas. We're supplying seeds and tools, rehabilitating wells and helping farmers and herders provide food and veterinary care to their livestock.
