Oxfam in the Sahel
In the drought-stricken Sahel region of West Africa, more than 18 million people are facing a severe food crisis. Following the disastrous harvest of 2011, food supplies have run dangerously low. Oxfam is on the ground in some of the worst-affected areas. We're supplying seeds and tools, rehabilitating wells and helping farmers and herders provide food and veterinary care to their livestock. But in order to ramp up our efforts and reach more people, we urgently need your help. Please donate to the West Africa Food Crisis Fund today.
