The Poconos Kokomos run Ragnar Pennsylvania 2012
This October, twelve of us are running an insane 200 miles through Amish country and the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, participating in the 2012 Ragnar Relay series. With our trusty drivers Kate and Della at the helm, we'll run up mountains and over rivers, non-stop through the day and night. We'll each run three legs (some of us completing over 20 miles each) throughout the thirty hour race.
For most of us, running is our passion. For the remainder, we're just a bunch of crazies trying to make it to our next exchange point as fast and safely as we can. It will be an element-braving, sleep-deprived test of endurance and determination for us all.
We're fortunate to have these sorts of opportunities -- to pursue running as a hobby or passion in a magnificent setting, with lots of support from family and friends. We're mindful that not everyone is as fortunate as we are, so as we train and race, we've set a fundraising goal to make a contribution to our charity of choice. Oxfam does great work in opening up opportunities for others, and we'd appreciate your donation to them as we run our little hearts out.
While we run and train we'll be updating our Facebook page. Follow us to stay up-to-date with our progress and cheer us on as we make our way through Ragnar Pennsylvania 2012.
Thank you for your support,
Jess, Gemma, Nick, Chris, Becca, Marissa, Andrea, Drinky, Della, Meredith, James, Elri, Kate :)

If you can't make a donation at this point, help us reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to our page!
Thanks so much for your generosity!
